9.5 Million Foreign Nationals Have Already Submitted Biometrics in Russia

9.5 million foreign nationals have already submitted their biometrics in Russia, announced Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin while answering questions from deputies in the State Duma.

"The Unified Biometric System, together with the Bank of Russia, we are improving it. And we have had biometrics submitted by <...> 9.5 million foreign nationals. We have also prevented the entry of about 50,000, slightly even more, migrants through Moscow airports and automobile checkpoints," he said. "When concluding contracts, 3.9 million foreign nationals have confirmed their identity through the Unified Biometric System to date. This is a very important area that allows us to establish order in this sphere."
